The Doron Yoga Meditation Retreat offers the most practical tool to bliss. The retreat is Zen-based with some Tibetan, Osho, and guided meditations, as well some yoga and philosophy discussion.

We will use a variety of meditation techniques to understand better our mind, and dive deeper to learn who we really are.

There is a difference between who we think we are, and who we actually are. Doron will teach the basics of meditation, forms and functionality.

The purpose of different types of meditation, and the steps – from focusing, through mindfulness and eventually deeper meditations.

Our lush and peaceful hundred sixty square meter center is located in the quiet Mayan village of Tzununa. Only minutes from the lake, the DZYC awaits your yoga practice and dancing feet. Our newly completed  Zendo Yoga Shala practice space sits elevated alongside the Tzununa River, providing us with inspiring sounds and views of the magnificent Tzununa valley, Lake Atitlan and both the Fuego and Atitlan Volcanoes.

6:00 – 7:00am Meditation

7:00 – 9:00am Yoga

9:00 – 9:30am Breakfast

9:30 – 10:30am Work meditation

10:30am – 1:00pm Break: lake time, self reflection, writing, reading

1:00 – 1:30pm Lunch

1:30 – 4:30pm Break: rest, read, meditate by the river

4:30 – 6:30pm Meditation / Dharma talks / light movement

6:30 – 7:30pm Dinner
