Doron’s  yoga workshops are a place for learning and growth. Unlike a class, where it is more about the practice, a workshop is a place to understand the how to, so that your practice and life go so much deeper. It is in the yoga workshops, immersion and trainings that one really takes a leap into a deeper practice.image

Grow stronger, calmer, steadier and create a sustainable blissful life, with these in-depth yoga workshops. Doron’s yoga workshops will give you information and practice equal to months of classes.

Many of the yoga workshops count as Yoga Alliance hours.

Whether you are an experienced yogi looking to deepen your practice, or relatively new to yoga but curious to discover more, these yoga workshops will provide you with the skills and techniques necessary to approach life with more power and awareness, and a profound understanding of each of the topics presented, allowing you to really learn and embody the material.image

The yoga workshops are taught by Doron Hanoch, a Master Yogi and Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher at the most advanced level (ERYT 500). Doron is a sought after teacher who instructs group and individual sessions all over the world.

An empowering, info rich workshop that will show you how to balance your yoga practice and your yoga life! Tons of practical tips that will change your life forever.

Find balance, health and peace using the ancient wisdom of the Indian Ayurveda system, (the science of life) as well as current yoga and nutrition trends. You will have the opportunity to discover what your body type (dosha) is and then understand how it applies to your life. What does each body type need in order to find and maintain balance? You will obtain the tools needed to achieve balance in your life through nutrition, yoga practice, mind training, and breath techniques (Pranayama).

The workshops are based on Doron’s latest book, The Yoga Lifestyle (published by Llewellyn June 2016). Learn about the art of being a flexitarian, and how to maintain a sustainable, healthy, and joyful life.

Mastering the mind is the secret to joyful living. Understand the functioning of mind on and off your mat. Learn the age-old meditation techniques designed to bring balance and clarity to your life and the true foundation for discovering bliss. Lecture with practice. Includes some simple movement meditation.

Explore and enjoy the fun and exhilaration of some of yoga’s most challenging poses and learn how often it is our mind holding us back, not our body. You will also learn detailed secrets to make this poses happen far easier than you could imagine. Your eyes will glow with delight! Intermediate to advanced students.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series, Sanskrit Counting and Asana Names

A deeper dive into this Ashtanga vinyasa of Pattabhi Jois program designed to deepen the understanding of the poses, the breath, transitions, gaze and body and mind awareness. We will cover Sanskrit counting, the nature of vinyasa, jump back and jump through, and modifications to master this series.

Traditional Wisdom made Practical: Yoga Philosophy – Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras

The yoga system of Patanjali is made to help us take control of the mind, and eventually step beyond our thinking self into a blissful self. There are specific guidelines to understand the patterns of the mind, the 4 layers of its functioning, the 5 afflictions and the 8 limbs. Create change in your life, and learn how to get unstuck from old patterns.  Side effects include: reduces stress, feeling empowered, clarity, peace of mind, and relaxation. The most powerful tools to take charge of your life.

 Ashtanga Vinyasa Intermediate Series. Opening Up Your Energy Channels

A deeper investigation of the Ashtanga system, this workshop focuses on the intermediate series (second series), where we practice to open up our energetic channels – our Nadi’s – and to experience life energy flow through us, creating beauty, power and vibrancy. Learn the foundations of arm balancing, deeper hip openers and mostly, strengthen and open up your back in a safe and sustainable way. Lots of modifications offered.  Some yoga experience necessary, but no need to be advanced.

Prana and Pranayama: Anatomy of Energy – Finding the Power Within

This workshop is focused on the more subtle, energetic aspects of yoga. We will learn about the anatomy of energy, its potential and how to harness it, bringing an ease and grace to your practice and life. Learn how to awaken your Prana (life force energy) with yoga, and how to increase your energy and balance with Pranayama (breath work).

The Art of Sequencing: From Your Personal Practice to Teaching a Group – Doron’s famous 19 building Blocks

Sequencing is an art. It is important for safety, for proper warm up, for the poses to feel good, and for the whole session to flow in a way that leads to a sattvic feeling – a good, healthy, happy feeling in the body and mind.

In order to allow for creativity while still maintaining some structure, I have created the Doron Yoga Building Blocks. These building blocks build the entire sequence of a class with lots of options – within each one of them you can choose a variety of poses. You will understand the logic of healthy sequencing, and know how to create your own class, either for your home practice, or your students.

Giving Helpful Hands on Adjustments. Observation, Voice and Touch

A hands on workshop designed to teach you the proper alignment and subtle movements in poses to both deepen your own practice as well as safely offer hands on adjustments to your students. Learn the safety elements of assisting students, when and how much to give, how deep to go, where to touch and how. This will give you tools to really be able to take students deeper into their practice in a sustainable way.
