Heart-Opening Reviews From Our Previous Guests

Place is awesome! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!! The admin staff is solid – super friendly and helpful. Doron is a top notch instructor. Experienced and knowledgeable in both yoga and meditation. His mix of discipline and unconditional kindness was exactly what I was hoping for. Kasia too is a badass. Loved her yin yoga class. Importantly you could easily tell that this place cares about and is devoted to supporting the local community. Always something I look for when staying at eco lodges and the like. Loved being around all the good vibes. Plan to come back in the near future and you should too!

I stayed at the DYZC over the holidays participating in the New Year’s Rejuvenation Retreat, and highly recommend this experience to others! It was a great mix of yoga (with world class instruction from Doron himself!), meditation, pranayama, zen/dhamma discussions and optional activities (incl. massages, tourist excursions and more!). Plus, the food was incredible, and so nourishing. In a short amount of time, our cohort built an amazing community and I left the retreat feeling grounded, connected and very rejuvenated. It was the perfect way to spend New Year’s, and I look forward to returning someday to explore other trainings /retreats on offer. Thank you to Doron and his amazing staff – I will be back!

On a whim, two weeks before Dec 31st, I decided to sign up for a yoga retreat for new years. After some research, I came across Doron Yoga & Zen Center and their New Year’s yoga and meditation retreat. Although I didn’t have much experience and traveled by myself to a country I had never been before, I had the best time! I received great training from Doron and have continued my yoga practice since I got back. This place feels like home now and the staff like family. Doron is passionate about his teachings and makes sure everyone has a great experience. The staff is very attentive and will help with any questions. The food was absolutely divine and everyone at the retreat raved about it.  The location feels like heaven, the views of the lake and the calmness of the area is just intoxicating. I will most definitely be back! If you’re looking to get away, recharge and regenerate in mind body and soul, this is the place.
