Doron Yoga Classic Bliss Ball

We’re going to give you one of our most widely acclaimed recipes, the Doron Yoga Classic Bliss Ball! Doron has been making these for years, they’re one of our best-selling desserts. They are always a huge hit with everyone who tries them. If you’ve stayed with us, you’ll most likely have eaten more than a few of these. They are delicious and packed full of healthy, guilt-free ingredients. As well as being a perfectly balanced sweet treat, they also contain loads of slow release energy ingredients. This means that you don’t get a sugar crash therefore you can carry on powering through your practice for longer!
Yield: 15 portions / Prep Time: 20 minutes / Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 4 tablespoons crushed peanuts
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 3 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 5 tablespoon shredded coconut
- 1½ tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon avocado pit powder, (or substitute extra flaxseed)
- ½ cup grated panela, (or substitute raw sugar)
- 2 cups cacao, (or substitute for 2 cups dark chocolate, with at least 85% cocoa content)
- 2½ cups water
- 3 tablespoons chopped raisins
- 5 tablespoons oats
- 3 tablespoons cocoa or cacao powder
Procedure

- Combine the flaxseed, peanuts, chia seeds, sesame seeds, coconut, avocado pit powder (or extra flaxseed), cocoa powder and ground cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Grate the panela into a separate bowl.
- Add the cacao (or chocolate) to the panela, and place into a pot over a medium heat.
- Add 2 cups of water and heat, stirring gently until melted.
- When the panela and cacao is thoroughly mixed and has thickened, take the pan off the heat and set aside to cool.
- Once cool add the mixture to the bowl containing the dry ingredients along with the raisins, the remaining water and oats (if using).
- Roll into medium-sized balls, approximately ¼ cup for each.
- Roll each ball in shredded coconut and store in the fridge for up to a week or freezer for up to a month.
