Yield: 4 portions / Prep Time: 10 minutes + overnight to soak / Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 5 cups water
- 2 cups oats
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons walnuts
- 2 Brazil nuts chopped rough
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
- 1 tablespoon raisins
- 3 tablespoons shredded coconut
- 1/4 teaspoon Avocado Pit Powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 4 large bananas, chopped
- pinch of Salt
Procedure
1. The night before, put all ingredients, (except the bananas), for the number of desired servings in a pot to soak and cover with a clean cloth.
2. In the morning, place the pot on a medium heat, add the bananas, stir continuously to ensure it doesn’t clump. Heat until the mixture is bubbling and if desired add extra water for a thinner consistency.
3. Turn off the heat and allow to sit for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
4. Serve warm – as is, with a drizzle of honey, apples, or extra chopped nuts.
Feel free to play with adding, nuts, seeds, or spices. The more variety in nutrients, the better!
