Sweet Orange & Miso Dressing
Split the Spectrum
Sweet orange & miso dressing is a great option for summer months, light, tasty and with it’s own unique combination of flavors, it’s sure to impress! Try and buy the best oranges you can find, and experiment with different colours, styles and brands of miso. The zingy citrus flavor of the orange is at the polar end of the spectrum to the deep, umami, saltiness of the miso. The more of a difference you can create between the two ends of the flavor spectrum, the more subtle shades of taste created in between, so really push the boundaries of both flavor types involved to see what you can create on the journey.
Ingredients

- Juice of 1 orange
- 1 tbsp miso
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger, minced
- 1 celery stalk
- 1/2 cup sesame oil
- Salt to taste
- Water – as necessary
Procedure

- In a food processor, blend all ingredients together. Add water as needed.
- Drizzle over your salad of choice, toss thoroughly and enjoy!
