This video demonstrates the right way to align your pelvis and hips, benefiting your yoga practice as well as your daily life. It is important for a healthy back, as well as for achieving easier inversions. Tune in for tips to balance your tailbone with your hipbone.
Adjusting hips saves you from many back problems. To avoid so called “sexy butt” syndrome and tuck the tailbone towards the ground, activating your bandhas and bringing the floating ribs down lengthening the spine. Keep this in mind in all standing poses (ashtanga standing poses) and in poses like warrior I & II.
