Build habits
Cultivating consistency is a very important aspect of practice when searching for true progress as well as physical and mental benefits. Show up consistently, focus on how you practice. Be present, breathe consciously and practice with awareness, intention and determination – quality over quantity.
When practiced properly, other details are less important. Surely, the dream would be waking up at sunrise every single morning, spending a whole hour implementing Pranayama (breathwork) and meditating. Maybe even with a view of a lake and some volcanoes, by a river in a jungle. After all that still looking forward to a 1.5 hour yoga practice.
Unfortunately, not all of us live at the Doron Yoga & Zen Center.
The good news is that even if you live a fast lifestyle, there is still hope for you! The simplest act of showing up for your practice and yourself is the first and most important step for progress. Show up consistently and mindfully to make the best out of your practice.
To support your daily practice, especially if you find yourself short on time, here is a very efficient 30 minute yoga class that will activate, stretch and open your whole body. Enjoy the bliss of unconditional self-care!
