To begin with, you may feel naughty for eating this but there are only delicious, healthy, raw, and vegan ingredients! This raw chocolate mousse is amazing and energizing. Due to the combination of healthy natural wonders, it gives you the feeling that you are having an extravagant dessert, however there are no sugar crashes or empty calories. Perfect for any time of the day. This raw chocolate mousse is beautiful by itself, however some pecans on top add a nice crunch. In addition, try raspberries when they are in season, or goji berries if you are feeling extra fancy.

Yield: 2 servings / Prep time:  5 minutes

Ingredients

    • 2 large ripe bananas
    • 1 ripe avocado

    • 3 tablespoons raw cocoa powder
    • ½ teaspoon maca powder (optional)
    • ½ teaspoon locuma powder (optional)
    • 2 tablespoons cacao nibs (optional – for a bit more chocolate crunch!)
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 2 cups almond milk, rice milk or any other milk

Procedure

    1. Place all ingredients apart from 1 cup of your milk of choice in a strong blender, and begin blending.

It is now one of my favorites! I have this almost every day. I eat half for breakfast, and the other half as a “pick me up” in the afternoon.

Try adding some cacao nibs too!
